MWB #10 - Self Awareness, Investment and Decision Making
...our life is the summary of all our previous decisions. we should seek to get better at decision making in order to improve the quality of our life.
Hello friends,
Here's one lesson that I've learned over again since you last heard from me:
A sick man's ONLY desire is health.
And we all need to do all that is in our power to ensure good health. When we don't have it, we don't have anything because even those things that seem to matter won't matter anymore, or at least won't get our attention.
After my birthday last Friday, I feel I'll and I'm just fully recovering now. That thought me that lesson all over again.
Take care of your health.

Have you ever wondered why our parents didn't talk much to us about investing or saving for the future? You are in luck if your parent did with you. My mama did with me as well but only once. She had the conversation with me sometimes in 2008/09 and not at ore after that.
Why did she have that conversation with me? Why didn't she have it anymore after that? And how is it that I still remember that event among a lot of moments? In this article, “Predictability Makes Wealth Building Easier”, I explored this question and curiosity.
The stock market retraced a lot in the past 3 weeks. At a point, one of my portfolios was in the negative wiping out all the gains I've accumulated for more than a year. That's not something anyone wishes for or likes. However, it's the reality of the market, it goes up and down.
I seized the moment of that to drive home some points which I shared in this Twitter thread. Read it and share your thoughts with me or publicly on Twitter.
