Hello there,
A few years ago, I was listening to Tony Elumelu's presentation to new hires at UBA. In it, he said, "what's needed to achieve a goal is a plan and not quite enough time." I have spent a lot of time reflecting on that words since then and more often than not, they have held water and endured all tests.
Why did I remember it again today?
I am scheduled to write an exam today. It's an exam I've postponed until today. In preparation for the exam, I picked up the material to read. Unfortunately for me, I thought I had finished the material when all I've done is read 1/6 of it. I discovered this while trying to solve past questions. And I only discovered it a day before the exam.
Well, it was at that point that I remembered the quote again. By the virtue of oversight, I have "not quite enough time" already. What's left is a plan.
Writing this email was part of the plan since I didn't want to miss not sending one out. Other plans meant reading late into the night and waking up even early to continue.
Wish me luck. Lol.
That's all I have to share today.
See you next week.
