Hello friends,
When the year began and I chose to write this newsletter weekly, it was for several reasons. A lot has happened since then, 46 emails and 364 days later we are here. Glad to have seen the end of the year and happy to go into the new year. I congratulate you and thank God on your behalf?
Did I achieve the goals I set out to achieve with this newsletter this year? Largely, yes. And I owe all that success to you all. For opening to read, for liking, and sharing. Most importantly for sharing your wins with me, seeing me as part of your success story and writing me those beautiful emails. You all have a mind without boundary and I am glad.
I will share some lessons I learned this year with you now. The interesting about the lessons is that they are not new, I have either just lived through them or they have been reinforced again. But they constitute the summary of the year for me.
Don’t seek permission. Whatever you want to do, do it as long as it is within the confines of the law of your and the boundaries of your and it doesn’t cause harm to humans. Don’t wait for anyone’s approval go for it.
The end is often usually different from what we anticipate it to be like. And that’s okay as long as you move forward upward.
Learn to embrace uncertainty. No matter how perfect and clear cut tomorrow may be, life will always introduce elements of uncertainty. It is your responsibility to note the opportunities in the uncertainty. Some people only see reasons to worry. I hope you are not one of them.
Have patience. Given enough time, virtually all goals will be achieved. But I know no one has enough time, and our time is running out. Despite this, some things still can’t be forced, they have to come to you only at the appointed time. When you plant, your crop takes time to bring forth fruit, they don’t do so immediately. And depending on the nature of the crop, you may even have to wait for many years before you see the first fruit. As it is in the world of crops, so is with all our effort under the sun. Patience is the price we all have to pay.
Live your life. This is subtle but important. Live your life, and don’t compare with that of someone else. Those who compare themselves with others are not wise. Our conditions are always 100% different. Your goal is to have peace with yourself in all your do, any other thing is a distraction.
Those are the things I wish to share.
I must say at this point that I will not be committing to writing this email weekly like I did this year. I will have to commit my time to other things. However, as often as I can, I will always write to you all, my friends.
I wish you the very best in the new year and many more blessings, progress and answered prayers.
See you when I see you again.
I really enjoyed reading this. I find that I can relate with your lessons learnt. Great advice!
