Thought-provoking piece, thanks David. Nigerians - me and you - have to really take a look at ourselves in the mirror and agree that it is simply not working. There's no point racing to the finish line of a marathon when you're already pre-disqualified, and not in the right shape to compete. We need to go back to investigate our foundation (constitutions, governance structures, property rights, rule of law, education, etc.) before we can be hopeful in building anything meaningful.

It's the only thing you can ever really go long in. Hope it compounds well enough for those things to start changing the whole. Bottom up not top down!
